Adverbs of degree of quantity show how much, or in what degree or to what extent
Adverbs of degree بتاتے ہیں کہ کام کتنا، کس درگے کا یا کس حد تک ہوتا ہے، ہوا یا ہو گا۔

- I am so glad.
- میں بہت خوش ہوں۔

Adverbs of probability بتاتے ہیں کہ ہم کسی بات کے بارے میں کس قدر پُر یقین ہیں۔

- وہ غالباً تمہارا پتہ جانتا ہے۔
- They have definitely gone out.
- وہ یقیناً باہر جا چکے ہیں۔

Definition:
Adverbs of interrogation are used to task questions
Adverbs of interrogation سوال پوچھنے کے لئے استعمال ہوتے ہیں۔
Examples:
- Where did they go yesterday?
- وہ کل کہاں گئے تھے؟
- Why are you so sad?
- آپ اتنے اُداس کیوں ہیں؟
- When does he open his shop?
- وہ اپنی دکان کب کھولتا ہے؟

- وہ یہ مسئلہ کیسے حل کرے گی؟
Note: Adverb of manner, Adverb of place, and Adverb of time in one sentence are placed in the following sequence: (manner+ place+ time)
اگر کسی sentence میں adverb of manner, adverb of place اور adverb of time اکٹھا آئیں تو سب سے پہلے adverb of manner آتا ہے پھر adverb of place اور پھر adverb of time
He played well yesterday. (manner+ time)
وہ کل اچھا کھیلا۔
I live here now. (place+ time)
اب میں یہاں رہتا ہوں۔

DEGREES OF ADVERBS
Many adverbs also have three degrees like adjectives.
- Positive Degree:
A rabbit runs fast.
خرگوش تیز دوڑتا ہے۔
Nazia writes clearly.
نازیہ صفائی سے لکھتی ہے۔
- Comparative Degree:
A deer runs faster than a rabbit.
ہرن خرگوش سے تیز دوڑتا ہے۔
Uzma writes more clearly than Nazia.
عظمٰی نازیہ سے زیادہ صفائی سے لکھتی ہے۔
- Superlative Degree:
A cheetah runs fastest of all.
چیتا سب سے تیز دوڑتا ہے۔
Alia writes most clearly of all.
عالیہ سب سے زیادہ صفائی سے لکھتی ہے۔
